Engine Temp question
Does anyone know the temperature at which the engine (7MGTE) will be during normal operation once it is fully heated up?

A good starting point is the coolant temperature, the thermostat opens at 187 F - 194 F, I would expect the exhaust manifold side could be a lot hotter, especial on heat soak once the engine is turn off. Are you looking for some heat resistant paint or is this just a general question.

You caught the odd nature of my question. I am going to do some computer modeling and FEA of the car and look at improvements that could be made to air flow to the engine, engine temp, drag, spoiler/wing design, ect...
I was going to try to be secrative and surprise you all with pretty pictures... |
