How to change e-brake cables
ok so i have replacement e-brake cables.. how do i go about changind them? do i start from underneath the car? or do i have to take apart the whole center console and backseats etc. someone point me in the right direction lol i looked at the tsrm and it didnt have it. i also have the haynes manual.. but that didnt help either.

look underneath the undercarriage should find the cable near your tranny. Then just follow it to where you need to unbolt it.

As you can see the cable is in three sections, assuming your replace all three, then it looks like you would only need to remove the hand brake cover to release the cable and not any other part of the interior . Looks like an adjusting nut & locking nut for the inner cable and some sort of clamp for the outer cable. The remaining removal would need to be done from underneath.

Just found this from a right-hand drive supra, looks like you may also need to remove the centre console box.

Hey Im having issues with my e-brake but I dont know if its the cable or the actual brake. Whats happening is only one tire is disengaging when i turn the e-brake off, the other releases. The car sat outdoors for 3 years so im assuming its all rusted.
