What do you guys think of this?
I would want to see the dyno and know what the total cost of the system is. I dont doubt that it can cool the air, but what is the overall benefit for the cost?
Yeah! Without knowing these things it is, it is not possible to decide about it.
it seems pricy too. idk if it would make much of a difference because there isnt much surface area to cool the air.. like an intercooler it has tons of surface area. too bad their supposed dyno sheets aren't working..
who has tons of money here and wanna try it out?? |
Keep in mind cold air is great, when the computer knows that it's cold. This looks like it'll be placed after the MAF sensor, therefore the air will still be normal temperature where the air temp sensor is (in the air flow meter). This means the computer doesn't know it's cold, and therefore will not adjust the amount of fuel injected, resulting in virtually no noticeable power gain.
isnt the intercooler after the maf sensor too?
You know, that's a good point... My understanding of the impact of cold air may be incorrect. Disregard my earlier post.
