i'm not the only one
what i ended up doing was getting one from o'rielys . you have to put the new bearing in the old housing but if you can weld or know someone who can you only spend about 100 bucks. Hope this helps!

I'm surprised!
I'm surprised a driveline shop would refuse work. I've seen places on the web that offer 1-piece drive shafts for Supras, but cannot seem to find them right now. I have an original driveshaft out of a parts car I purchased last year as a spare for my original. One idea was to take it to a driveline shop here in Atlanta to have it converted to a 1-piece. Basically take the two joints at the end, and have a new shaft welded in-between. I guess now I have to check to see if I can find a place to do it.

it is so easy
yea it is to bad no one will do it because it only takes about twenty mins. drill out 4 spot welds, spread it open replace the bearing/isolator assy then push it back together. if you keep the housing square the mount bolt will take care of welding it back together. the part # is 8588 for the new one.no vibrations after but that was w/my 7m dont know about the 1jz yet
