Blown Head Gasket
So I took my head to the machine shop Ive removed the cams, The machine shops going to check for cracks, put my new valve seals in, do a valve job and reseating valves, going to surface the head and do the cleaning.
Questions: 1.) Does any one know the tourqe for the installation of the cams? 2.) All that is going to run me about 210. usd does that sound fair. He usallly charges me 50, 60 bucks for cleaning checking and resurfaceing. The guys pretty good. Hes done all my head work just curious what other people have paid for this. torque bearing caps (things that hole the cams) to 14ft-lb... make sure you do it in proper sequence
