Car starts then dies. Starts then won't start
 

Just bought a 88 turbo two weeks ago. Ran perfect when I bought it. Or so I thought. Drove it fine for a week.
After I filled up the gas tank it would not start. Let it sit for a week and then it started up but wouldn't idle and stall whenever I let the rpms drop. The car still seemed to have 100% power when I pushed it. Brought it back into the garage changed the spark plugs, coolant and oil just for good measure.

After I did that I starting up to make sure I put everything back together again properly. (spark plug job is a pain in the ass) Ran for five minutes and then I turned it off so I could take it off the jack stands. Went to start again to drive around a while and I wouldn't start again.

Starters working great. Even sounds like there might be an ignition every once and a while but won't take Hold.

Does anyone have advice about what I should check next?

I'm new to these cars, but when I had a similar problem a couple weeks ago, I had to adjust my cam pos. sensor, like it was out of time, I also found if when it is running, if i touch the wires on the cps, it dies. Basically I retarded my timing a hair so it will start easily until I replace the cps. still runs fast and smooth.
