Fuel rail constanlty running
I got my 7MGE back together after a blown head gasket repair, it starts but timings off. The problem is that when I turn the key to the on postion the fuel pump kicks on and then theres a sounrd under the hood like injectors or rail is just running I know that the rail dosent actually run but thats where the sound is most previalent. Any Ideas? Like I said everything seems fine just a noise.

Im going to try and run a fuel pressure test this week some time after I get the timing set, its being ridiculious Ill get the marks all lined up then after a couple revolutions itll be off again then the distributer isnt lineing up right or something cause I line up the groove on it and the indented circle and the car one run but if I move back a couple teeth itll run just really poorly. I plan to take it to someone who can set timing better than me. Ill let you guys know what I find out about the fuel thing.

Turns out if the air flow meter reads any air then fuel pump will continue to run unpluged it and noise stops. I must have messed something up when i unplugged it. Just posting incase anyone else has same problem.

did you just replace it? I think when I pulled it apart something happened cause before bhg it ran fine. The unit is sealed it seems and a new one cost like 230.00
