Just bought a 87 supra no power in boost
Hello everyone I just registered and just got a supra today. Im very excited.
I traded my 92 civic for this beast. Has some mods hks hg and bov. Something weird is going on though and being new to supras I need some help. First thing is the cel is on, I know how to pull the codes but can find any code lists to match them up to. Second thing is the turbo spools fine and blows off and build pressure but when the boost kicks in the car bogs down and almost decelerates. Anyone have any idea as to what this could be? I was heavy into honda's but its time to mod some real cars for once. I look forward to working on this car and learning and helping out around here. |

when you jump in the diagnostics T and E1 it'll blink your codes. codes are double digits btw there is no code 11. you should try again http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Librar...aspx?S=FI&P=26 hit next for the next 2 pages for all the codes Last edited by Kevin; 08-21-2009 at 03:54 AM. |

No havent cleared the codes. On hondas you could do this by pulling the ecu fuse for 20 seconds. What is the process for supras?

You can also pull the EFI fuse for about 30 seconds or so.... I always wait a couple minutes to make sure it's cleared
