maybe this is my problem too? Just got an 87 7MGE on an A340E tranny a couple of weeks ago. First car (of three) I've ever owned w/ a gauge for oil pressure... so I'm still not sure if there's a problem or I just need to learn how to read it..
When I start her up, the guage jumps to about 20 lbs... drive it for a few minutes, it could peak upwards of 40lbs... however, after I've been driving for a few minutes, the pressure seems to remain steady at ~10 lbs, but will go up the longer I drive it uninterrupted... :? |
