Hatch lift support
On an 87 supra how do I remove the old hatch lift support(s)? It appears as the attachment to the body is 2 rivets! Thanks for any information.

Hatch lift support / 1987 Supra
It is my understanding that those are not rivets, but bolts, which are accessed from below. There are two nuts which must be removed.
I do not know how to take off the long plastic part which "hides" the nuts. If anyone can help with this, I would appreciate it. |
