Default rear window slats

i have seen a lot of them on 69and70 mustang fastbacks. they are an external horizontal slat (like blinds on your house) that keep the car cooler and also look good. hope you can help

tint the windows, rear slats are dated and rare for a mk3. So 80's.

If it helps clarify for anyone, I believe they're talking about window louvers (or however you spell it). I've seen them once before on a MKIII, I think they were a custom job.

In any case, they looked kind of cool on the car, just depends on what you're going for. The one I saw was a kind of blast-from-the-past 80's car, complete with digi dash, louvers, AM/FM/Tape radio, etc...

But I would do some searching. I've been told that the MKII louvers can be modified slightly to work on a MKIII. Might wanna look into that.

Picture shows some louvers on a 86 corolla for reference.
