mk3 exhaust
i am seriously thinking about replacing the stock muffler with a straight pipe, leaving the converter and the resonator to handle the noise. has anybody tried this or have i been around too many explosions.

Get a straight flowing muffler (cough ---> BORLA), a straight flowing resonator and leave the cat as long as it's not clogged... nice deep rumble that's loud enough when floored... even on a N/A, but better on a turbo.
I'd ditch the resonator and replace the stock muffler myself... actually, I did. |
