if you have just the parts... meh, can't say I'm interested but I wish you luck... HOWEVER, if you're pulling the parts off a car, I'm in need of a rear hatch stopper (the lil black rubber piece mounted to the hatch liner on the car, not the one on the hatch itself).. but no worries, I'd imagine that's not too difficult to find in a junk yard... and since it's no moving parts, I just have to make sure it's not dry and brittle like the last one..

yea, I figured something similar was the case after I posted and reread the thread as 7mge, no year... nothing more... figured it was engine only at that point, "but wth" I thought... "I might be able to find what I need".
BTW, did you do a straight swap? or did you upgrade from the 7mge? |

nice, that is the swap I would ultimately like to do w/ my mk3... but I'm afraid of the downtime and the cost as I'm a 30 nothing yr old male with about as many pennies in the bank as I've had days on this earth.. so was lookin towards a 1jz, but I'm not sure I want to loose the torque for a little extra horsepower when I could do 2jz and have both qualities upgraded.. grats on the swap... and nice to hear she's running strong.

Ya the engine is bad ass. It's really worth it. But all the time I had to put into it and alot of custom fabrication. It's alot. But it's fun and I love to do these types of things so... But ya it's worth it.
