Mystery Wire?
Okay, well after I got curious about my engine light for the first time in 7 months, I looked around on the forums and found something about a spade connector under the inlet manifold. I have no idea what an inlet manifold, so I just went and looked around. Needless to say the first wire I checked was disconnected. So I need somebody to help me figure out where this thing goes...lol I can't find anything.
Here are the pics. If anybody has any suggestions I would be very happy

Went out and looked at mine... it's plugged into a circular plate lookin thing, similar to a horn or even that pressure regulator in the pictures you showed. If it helps, it's located between my power steering and the left hood strut... and it's the only thing between the two...

It connects to the factory alarm's horn which is mounted to the firewall next to the brake booster. I can't see enough in your picture to see where it mounts, but if you're not seeing the other end I presume the horn has been removed entirely.

If you don't see the light on the dash labeled "Security" light up then the alarm is not arming... this is due to one of three things usually: bad lock sensor, bad trigger sensor (doors, hood and hatch) or it's been disabled on purpose. |
