check engine light, no codes
just rebuilt my 1987, been fine tuning it for a while now. it took forever to find the cps for my engine to make it run right, the old one wouldnt time right and had oil under the black cap. oh my. so i switched it and re timed the engine. runs really good but at idle i can hear the rpms movin about. my engine speed and rpms on the ipc arent hooked up because i still have to convert that part of the harness from the non turbo accessory harness (it was a 7mge, i put a 7mgte in it). there are no codes inside of the computer. ive cleaned the injectors and fuel system but it still guzzles more gas than my other supra did. ive checked the timing a thousand times. the compression tests came out fine but somehow i am burning coolant. doesnt run hot though. not quite sure whats happening. the disconnected speed and rpms wouldnt set an mil would they? help please!
