Bein honest, you should decide how much you're willing to spend on your car. Your 7m can pull out a reliable 600 with a turbo kit, exhaust mods, and fuel mods (Along with essential odds and ends). A 1jz is the next easiest engine to drop in the MKIII supra in my opinion. Then it would be the 2jz. going with a stand alone ecu system would make any engine really easy to drop in the supra as well.

In the end, any Supra engine can make 600 rwhp reliably and be streetable. Legal, that's iffy depending on where you live, but whatever engine you want to go with can do it. But it's not cheap. Good luck.

Possible 2jz lower block swap in the works if I can't rebuild the 1j. So troublesome.

Do research, theirs plenty of threads on this on other forums. Have you driven a car with 400hp?
You need a good fuel system, standalone, turbo kit, just to name a few. Having 600hp calls for alot of things and even more money.
