I've been looking around for clutch and flywheel prices and alot of the sites ask for n/a or turbo. Are flywheel and clutches for n/a and turbo the same b/c i have a 86.5 n/a car but plan on putting a turbo engine in it. I think they're the same since n/a and turbo transmissions are direct bolt on for both motors.

the turbo clutch disk is a little larger than a non turbo but have the same splines. the pressure plate is a pull type for the turbo, a push for the non turbo. slave cylinders are different as well. so, to make it simple, if you have an n/a tranny and hardware use n/a listings. BEWARE! you need to have an upgraded clutch to hold the excess torque and hp you will be pushing to it.

it will only be different if you use the turbo pressure plate.
the key here is, u can use the turbo clutch disc, even in upgraded form. just not the pressure plate. 7mge-t + 7mgte clutch disc + 7mge pressure plate, 7mge throwout bearing, 7mge slave cylinder = will work. centerforce makes a really good clutch, plus ive had mine for about 3 months. im pushing high 200s low 300 hp. p/n df522018 summit racing will probably the cheapest next to ebay.
