Oil Pan Gasket Comparison.....
Sup supra-ites lol, recently my engine blew :frown: and now im begining the rebuild again, i just have a quick question....i need an oil pan gasket and was curious which is better cork or the fel-pro molded rubber and what is the difference? someone let me know..thanks

Doesn’t look like Toyota used a gasket, its not listed or shown in Cygnus X1 or the EPC I’ve always used a high temperature RTV such as Loctite 5926 that was three years ago no leaks so far. Loctite have other RTV products that probably are just as good.

Don't use any gasket, use FIPG like Bill & Nate suggested. Even the Toyota Supra TSRM doesn't indicate using an oil pan gasket on our cars, at least not on the 7M.

I rebuilt my engine and was not too happy when the cork gasket failed two months later. It was falling apart.. piece of shit. I used sealer and haven't had any problems.
