suprra_girl 08-15-2005 11:52 AM

i've decided to make a group buy on the 3" drop in elbow for the 7mgte

this elbow replaces the stock restrictive one (which is located after the turbo and before your exhaust... one with 02 sensor in it heh)

first elbow = stock, second elbow = the one i'm selling

i have had really great feedback on these elbows

some comments

wahooo bring on the dyno
it's into the back of the seat fun
more torque off the line
more power thru the rev range

average gains are 20ish hp depending on your current mods (7mgte's only)

i need 20 ppl... but will start of with 5 to get it going :)
price will be $145.00 shipped worldwide

deposit of $72.50 + 3% paypal fees

suprra_girl 08-17-2005 07:37 AM

steve119md 08-17-2005 02:42 PM

ok ill take one, ill use paypal , now this bolts on to the turbo to the downpipe is that how that works and if so do u need gaskets?

Supra Guestsuprra_girl 08-17-2005 10:33 PM

i'm not logged in at the mo.... and yes... it bolts on to the back of the turbo and to the downpipe and it comes with new gaskets :)

once i have a minimum of 5 ppl who have actually paid i will start sending them.... but once this 20 are over you won't get them at this price again ;)

steve119md 08-18-2005 09:34 PM

suprra_girl 08-19-2005 12:12 PM

i need an absolute minimum of 5 orders

so if you wish to get one... find 4 more ppl ;)

acousticrawk 08-27-2005 03:01 AM

not to sound like a jerk, but cant i jut do that to mine with a grinder? or go buy one from a JY and grind it myself? or is that a new home made one? i just looks like a grinded out one to me, just asking. could i see a pic of the other side of it? like around the back of the elbow? i may be interested in a month or so. ill let you know.

suprra_girl 08-27-2005 06:03 AM

1. you were unsuccessful... in not sounding like a jerk

2. go try it and you'll see why ppl don't

3. then get in on the group buy coz now your one is useless

4. i then tell you that if you grind it out you end up with huge holes that need to be welded and then polished

5. for the price.... just buy a 3" one LOL

acousticrawk 08-27-2005 06:17 AM

my appologies, can i see a pic of the other side of it? what metal do you use? any waranty?

suprra_girl 08-27-2005 06:20 AM

they're made from Stainless steel

and i don't think there would be a warranty... coz i dunno what would break? LOL

:)

acousticrawk 08-27-2005 09:23 AM

looks good, clean welds and good finish. i would want a warranty for the welds, or the o2 sensor threads, things like that, or if the o2 sensor couldnt read correctly for some reason, things like that.

joel w 08-27-2005 09:59 AM

i may be interested in one also...

Poodles 08-28-2005 08:05 AM

More than likely the welds would be fine, but as with any exhaust part like this, they CAN crack under extreme heat (READ: do not run lean). I'd buy one if I wasn't saving up for a DDP :(

there would be no reason for the 02 to read incorrectly

if it does... it's due to an 02 sensor malfunction

as i said in the original post i've had great reviews :)

JOEL.. would you like me to add you to the list?

Turbo Targa 08-29-2005 04:31 PM

I am very interested in it, but I dont want to have to wait for the other 18 people. :(

Prez420 08-29-2005 07:05 PM

Im am very interested

suprra_girl 08-29-2005 10:24 PM

all we need for the first order is 5 :)

ddmcse 08-30-2005 12:01 AM

LOL it's kinda funny

come on boys belly up to the bar and order .
i dont remember the exact price i paid but i know it was more than $145 shipped
and the gains are well worth it

james 08-31-2005 03:11 PM

is it just the 145 shipped then ill take one

joel w 08-31-2005 03:17 PM

suz, i think i will hold off on the elbow for now, maby once i get used to all this new power i will get one,,,

suprra_girl 08-31-2005 11:22 PM

yep it's $145 all up incl shipping

and the ddp has the elbow already built in :)

Prez420 09-02-2005 03:43 PM

suprra_girl 09-02-2005 10:15 PM

what exactly do you mean 'if you were staying stock'? such as a bigger faster turbo? its already a 3" pipe, is it not? you would need a bigger cat back than the stock to run the DDP, correct?

I lucked out, the supra I just bought came with a 3" stainless cat back, but I want the DDP for some sweet turbo music. :)

suprra_girl 09-03-2005 08:56 AM

i've got an aftermarket turbo.. so not ct26 flange... so elbow or ddp won't botl straight up

i'm getting one for my mums car tho ;)

Sorry supra girl. When i get into rebuilding my 7m-gte i will definately buy from u, i can see how that could increase performance. Can't wait to start rebuilding that motor!!!! For now i'm trying to be the fastest NA supra out there, If someone has an NA supra thats really fast lemme know.

bigal0043 09-16-2005 03:03 PM

I bought one of these from her and it is amazing quality... the welds are beautiful... looks good on the car and has an option for a wideband to hook up which is nice....
noticable gain dont know how much hp is gained but feels like there was some
A++++

suprra_girl 09-19-2005 11:39 AM

thanks for the comments... glad ur lovin it :)

KingDiamond 09-25-2005 11:41 AM

Would buy one but no turbo

I would buy one but i aint got a turbo, i guess maybe i could buy one and just hang it on my wall, and call it art. I'm sure it would be a great piece to discuss when company comes over :>

intense 7MGTE 09-26-2005 05:41 PM

Who makes this part

Does Megan Racing make this O2 elbow. It looks just like a Megan Racing product. Check them out. Also 20WHP is a little on the high side SR20DETs make like 10WHP with this same mod.

suprra_girl 09-27-2005 10:21 AM

^ your post has been edited

if you wish to send a pm to the whole board enlightening them of your discovery feel free to do so but putting pricing in anyone's thread is not a fair thing to do

but i shall investigate but this price includes shipping world wide... does megan?

also sr20's are 4cyl.... and depending on modification gains of 20hp have been known

edit: just checked out megan... they don't do them for the 7mgte

KingDiamond 09-28-2005 10:50 AM

I guess people should really look into things and know what they are talking about before they start talking :> If he would have really looked into himself he would have found they don't make it for the 7mgte, then he wouldn't have said anything and saved himself from looking stupid :> It happens we all do stupid things once in a while.

suprra_girl 09-28-2005 12:00 PM

not a great thing to do but he was looking out for everyone :)

89supraman 10-04-2005 11:09 AM

sorry to sound so newby but my 89 GT turbo is standard and is this elbow as simple as take of the old one and bolt it on?

suprra_girl 10-04-2005 11:39 AM

yep... this a straight bolt on

honestly tho... with a stock exhaust system & intake etc you won't be able notice alot of difference............ just yet

as you mod further you will notice a big difference from stock elbow to 3" :)
