Use a 5/8 spark plug socket. And also if you disconnect the y pipe from the main section of the intake manifold you can do the spark plugs and valve cover gaskets as well as reseal the oil plugs. Just make sure you replace the old gaskets with new so there are no leaks. Don’t try reusing, it doesn’t work as I found out. Felpro makes an intake manifold gasket set that is very common and only costs about $10.
