Wiper arms Help
Ok my 89 supra come with wiper arms that dont come with J hook arms but instead some obsolete screw in ends. I found some wiper arms that come with J hook ends but the seller states its for a 90 supra. My question is will the wiper arms work or is it a simple matter of taking measurmeants?

I've got the J arms on my '88... I don't believe they've got an adapter mounted. Anyway, there are/were plenty of wipers out there which come with a small hardware kit which includes different mounts for different applications. It's been a little while since I've needed them though so I don't know how readily available they are from local parts stores. I understand though if you're looking to just switch over to something more universally compatible.
I'll look at mine later today and see if they've got a part number on them or something which will be of use.

Okay, I looked at mine and I've got screw on J adapters... I thought that might be the case. Next time you're at the autoparts store check Bosch blades, I think a lot of theirs come with these adapters.
I don't know if the rear always had the J or not, I'll have to look; I don't know if mine has it. EDIT: Nope, adapter on my rear arm as well.

Most auto parts stores should be able to get you the J-hook adapters for either free or a couple of bucks tops. I know that the _______ ____ _____ that I work for has a big box of them that we just give out for free. If you end up not finding anyone who can get them for you, send me a pm and I can probably ship you a couple

Hell, I'd just swing by a local parts store, ask if they have any. If not, look in the trash bin outside for wiper blade packages... not too many people use them out of the packages that come with them.
