Hello all,
My name is Michael and I reside in San Diego County. I have a '91 Turbo that is in dire need of a engine replacement/rebuild. Anyone in the area that can help with info a/o services would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and Happy New year to all. |

I don't know if they're close to you or not, but DriftMotion is a very reputable shop in CA. If they aren't in your area or can't help I'm sure Aaron @ DM could recommend someone. Contact info here: http://store.driftmotion.com/static/contactus.php

When I lived in Temecula I usually had to go down to the pick a part in chula vista for anything supra related. You can likely find a motor there, but I'd strongly suggest rebuilding it as there's no way to tell what has happened to it. You could also try the Ecology salvage yard off of highway 76 in Oceanside. In either case, that would be an affordable way to get you an engine that's rebuildable if yours is scrap. Other than that you're looking at a place like Driftmotion (like cre suggested) or a jdm importer (usually somewhere in LA), but once again you should rebuild a jdm engine as well.

If you want to buy a used motor check out Tiger Japaneses, I bought mine from them it still runs great today, and they ship really quick.
