HAH! I almost choked on my soda there.... managed to land most of it on the desk without saturating the keyboard though. ;) Damn, I'm gonna get you a big ol' box of crayons for your birthday!

Underside of the accordian would be the power steering idle up vac source... a nipple about 3/8" in diameter? I hate to say it, but let's have an actual photo this time and we'll see if we can't get you sorted out real quickly.

Ok.

That's the connector I drew.

Here's the line that runs into the accordion hose..

Here's where it connects...then the line runs into my actuator.

<puts on director's cap>A little further back next time... hard to tell precisely where things are and no reference for gauging dimensions. ;) ,removes director's cap>

Well, I don't know what the hell he previous owner had going on and I'm not terribly worried about learning precisely HOW they managed to screw everything up... Just go through ALL of the vacuum hoses and make sure they all match the diagrams I've posted. The nipple off the bottom of the accordion connects to the Power Steering Valve shown in the pic below. The valve sits beside the block at the rear of the PS pump.

It's fixed!!! He had the hose coming out of the turbo plugged into the power steering valve.. It's back! My baby is back!!

Now, it's time for the knock sensors! >.<:outahere:

You should also check ALL of the other vacuum lines... If the PO was foolish enough to connect the actuator there who knows what the hell else he jacked up.
