Did mkiii come with lsd, if not where can i find one that will fit?

yep the mk3's did come with lsd's... 3.7, 3.9, 4.1, 4.5 & 4.7...... if you are from the states you will generally find 3.7's and occasionally 3.9's from 89-92's... usually you will find the lsd's behind turbos :)

code for the differential will be on the fire wall

yea should be under trans axle code on the tag... be g315 g319 etc etc one of them... have a look and let us know what ya got then i'll get the ratio for ya :)

The 87-88 turbos had a 3.9x LSD
89-92 turbos had 3.7x LSD
87-88(92) NA's had a 4.3 LSD as an option

all of these are for us only.

the JDM turbo R (89?) had a 4.10 torsen

as for the 4.5 and 4.7 what had those? that definately wasn't an option over here stateside.

I have a lsd differential in very good shape,,very tight no slack in it at all! It is a 4.3 to 1 posi differential. I bought it for a spare and no longer need it. If any one needs a diff email me at yooper61_99@yahoo.com I live in wisconsin usa. Thanks Scott
