what is the oil capacity on a 7MGE motor, 1991?

well i have a Cressida with the 7mge motor. Thats why i said that and not the model. Engines would take the same amount no matter what car it was in. thanks that helps!!!

Unless it's been modified. I was just kidding around, my system takes a lot more than stock.


Actually there could be differences due to the different oil pan.... but not enough that I'd sweat it.

first time oil change.. Add.. check, add check.. add check.. write it down. I have a running sheet were I record all maintance and mechanical work I do. ez referance for how much oil I added last time.. or sometimes I even mark it on a peice of tap to the inside of my door. don't worry about it if you add to much, just drain some out, since you have it on jacks anyhow. Do not run your car with too much oil. I did this once on a 89 sunbird, I made it 1/4 mile down the road when my gauges went fish eyed and my car shut off. My 7mgte takes at least 5 quarts
