Rubber Intake Armlet
Alright, so I have 2 7MGTE motors... both of which the armlet connecting to air filter to the turbo is cracking at the part that connects to the turbo... Anyone have any of these used, or know a solid cheap fix? These things are 196 dollars from my local toyota dealer.......

Yes, the first one is a good example of a nice aftermarket one, I need the stock one as I live in California, the 2nd one... that just looks poorly made

If the second one looks stock... it looks like a non-turbo one or atleast it looks a lot different from the one I currently have on my cars, I have seen that chrome one for less then $100 somewhere else, I would have gotten it but I won't pass smog with anything other then the stock intake armlet due to being in California.
Ahhh yes the 2nd link is the one I saw before, maybe I will get that one for my track car though, but for 50 dollars I wonder about the quality and authenticity of the part ;p |

The second one that Bill UK posted looks like my stock one... Think you can post a pic of the one you have so we can get an idea of what you're looking for?

Hmm... Doesn't look like either of the ones I have on my 90 or 92... maybe it is just infact a newer model of the old stock part.

The second one is stock... never changed as far as I can tell; The EPC lists the same part number for all years of GTE '87-'93.
Jarco's a pretty reputable company, the auction lists it as genuine Toyota and I'm inclined to believe them.
