You looking for clear lenses to replace the original or are you looking for covers? Cover's are easily fabbed by vacuum forming, replacement lenses would need to be cast. There's a guy in the UK who has posted a bit on SM about the clear signal and marker lights he fabricates... VERY good looking products. He takes the original, makes a mold and then casts an exact replica in clear. If you don't want the retroreflector though, I don't know if he'll be able to help. He goes by Wolfie something... Just search "wolfie clear signal" or something along those lines and you should be able to find his threads. |
I dont for get i dont think our allowed to alter the tailights from stock form, or thats what someone said

yeah i was meaning a casted replica lens in clear. Is there anyone in the U.S. making them possibly?

Thanks Bill I forgot about Dupra... probably because looking at his interior makes me want to claw my eyes out... but yeah, might be worth asking him.
Heh, mkiiisupra.net is the ONLY site I have EVER been kicked out of... I think it's because I'm in the US... the message I got just said I didn't meet their requirements... oh well, their loss... wankers. Quote:

Man, our lives would be easier if we were lame-os that bought eclipses. But I wouldn't trade my supra for anything other than a better supra.

U.K site issue.
I couldnt get on the U.K site either and it has to do with not having an E mail address with a "well known" domain name or ending in a 2 letter country code.

Civics... the way to go if you want a variety of options dirt cheap!

Even lamer! I am proud to say I have never owned a honda. Wouldnt mind an NSX though. but thats a whole new league.
|
Heh. I have no problem with Hondas... they make some very reliable cars. I do not think of them when I think of performance vehicles... the NSX was a fluke. ;) I do like newer Preludes, but again, even built up I don't really think of them as performance cars. I would like a built up one for a daily driver though while I completely tear down and rebuild my MKIII.
