I've had my Supra for about 8 months now and I'm finally looking to put some money into performance parts after bringing it back up to speed.
Can I get a few suggestions as to where to find some cold-air tubes? I have a K&N FIPK on the stock hose, and that's just not doing it for me. I checked out all of the links in the FAQs and I could only find one or two hoses for the N/A model, and those usually had the filter attached. Also, is it worth getting a heat shield on the filter to prevent the warmer air from the engine compartment entering the filter? Measurements on the TB inlet are 2.75" OD x 2" ID Thanks, Nick Reynolds Black '87 Auto N/A

I've read that a Civic intake can be used as a replacement to the stock tube... my current stock tube broke in half right around the intake air temp sensor and I need an aftermarket tube since Toyota of Dallas quotes $70 for the first elbow pipe and then $120 for the one from the resonator to the MAF - I can get an entire aftermarket kit for that price. What model / year Civic's intake is compatible with the Supra? Or are there places that sell JUST the tube w/o the filter? Custom build, maybe? Checking out all of the sites in the FAQs have the filter and tube, or they're for the turbo version of the MKIII.
Any help for us N/A drivers?
