What is this interior piece?
What are these pieces? I thought that they could be the connector for the seat belts but than that wouldn't make sense because that wouldn't be safe.. I tried to look for them in other pictures but haven't found any. Thanks in advanced! |

Yes, they are the #2 anchor point for the seatbelts... seatbelts that are just bolted to the seats aren't safe enough as far as DOT is concerned... you'll find those in most cars.

Those rods are slides which go into guides on the inside (console-side) of the front seats. The buckle-end of the stock seatbelts bolt onto the transmission hump as well.

The stock seatbelt bolts to the seat's frame not directly to the transmission hump.. that's why those rails are present.
