Okay, 7m-gte swap to 2jz-gte anyone did it before in this forum?
I heard its going to cost like 5 grand to 8 grand for labor too. No body got 2jz-gte(clean one) anymore ? Im from the West Coast Calfornia |

Depending on the trans you use and if you want to go turbo or not, 5-8 for the engine alone is about right, labor would depend on the shop that you take it toon but expect at least 3-5 for the swap. Also, cause you're in Cali, you'll have to get the car Bar and Reffed if you want to drive ur car on the streets (I'm in cali too, i feel your pain).

1jz-gte swap (Currently spun #3 rod bearings), Apexi high flow filter, Greddy thrust 3" downpipe, N1 3" catback with cat delete tube, 1 peice driveshaft, Bar and Plate intercooler, and 440 JDM 2jz injectors. Possible 2jz lower block swap in the works if I can't rebuild the 1j. So troublesome. |

If you decide to go through with it. Put some pictures up when it is done. Sounds sweat a 2jz engine in the mk3.
