Seafoam! And where to put it.
Hey guys, I was planning on seafoaming my recently bought 87 to see if I could improve the car a lil'.
Could someone tell me which vacuum hose is the one to suck the seafoam into the TB? I knew on my DSM but I'm very new to supras. |

Seafoam? You put it back on the shelf and get something that will actually work to clean your system without using naptha which isn't good for any of your rubber seals, gaskets, or anything made of or containing rubber.
As for which vacuum line to suck it in, that's not necessary since Seafoam sucks all on it's own. |

I'm certainly no friend of the crap either... but w/e. Running a good fuel and good oil will keep things just as clean and you don't risk large particulate freeing up and clogging things. I'll occasionally spray some distilled water into the intake tract to steam the cylinders, but it's easier for me as I don't have an AFM.
BUT, since you asked, most people use either the PCV port on the TB or the brake booster line on the upper intake plenum (or surge tank if you're accustomed to that term).
