Yes i'm sure it would be easier to put in a 7mgte, but if your going to have to pay someone to do everything be prepared to pay. I've always found it more fun to learn and do it yourself. Plus always remember the person who will care the most about about your car is you. And if you think it looks too complicated you could put in a 350 with a carb, can't get anymore basic, plus a nice v8 rumble. Just kinding about the 350 even though it has been done.

Cre, all this sounds great! I am truly getting excited now!! So with the 7MT sitting at the shop. What type of things besides what we find will need to be done; should we do?
I mean as far as the head gaskets and such. What are some good ones that I can get that will be more durable. What sort of things should I have done to the engine to help keep cost down of having to re-pull the engine for. Such as better cooing system, or bigger turbo (I'm sure you won't need to do a pull for this but I am just saying)

Let me know what you think. I will be going with the 7MT, will this be a easy swap? Yes, I will have the matching transmission with the engine.

Yep thats the way to go more power without proper control. I think thats the reason why less and less supras are around these days. And also becareful if it gets wrecked don't expect the insurance company to write a high check for a 20+ year old car. As far as the rebuild alot of people put in a metal hg and arp head studs but the the block and head both have to be machined. Also alot of clean up is in order.
