Turbo Intake Hoses
Ive been looking for the three turbo intake hoses and dunno what to do? I tried a parts store and replaceing them myself. but the turns are to tight and they collapse.. I need to replace all those hoses on the intake... Any Help ideas? what size are they? 1/2? could i buy silicone replacements?

the elbows and bends will collapse the aftermarket ones are too big.. I need 12.7mm or 1/2 inch

why can't you use hard pipe and couplers?
|
Magauto.com has the pieces you talk about, but they are a little pricey but probably cheap price for oem. You could probably make new piping with aluminum tube and silicone couplers if you wanted for a more modern look.

Take the old hoses to Autozone and ask one of the employees help you look for one or two from another car that has the angles and diameter you need. I managed to get three hoses out of on $15 hose for some GMC.
No one that I know of makes small diameter silicone coolant hoses and you ABSOLUTELY DO NOT want to try and use vacuum hose. |
are you talking about these hoses or am i lost?http://toyota.magauto.com/schematics/8/8310103.gif

I assumed coolant lines after he indicated 1/2".... clarification would be nice.
Also, for intake and vacuum lines check out www.siliconeintakes.com.... very affordable and they've always been very reliable for me. |
