You just paper clip it and start the car and see how the CEL light flashes and then you get your code. Something like that? |

check the faq.. very first post in the Supra Faq
http://www.toyota-supra.info/forums/...iagnostic.html this should answer all your questions. this link is a bit more helpfull in understanding. It basically takes you to the same place as the link supragirl posted in the faq thread. but this is just more direct. http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/TechTi...ror_codes.aspx

I need to just copy the information from the cygnus page into a new entry to the MKIII FAQ. I should also copy my page on the diagnostic box functionality there too...

fuel cut off
Wondering if I can avoid fuel cut off by upgrading my fuel pump only? What is the easiest way to stop fuel cut off? Least amount of $$.

No, not really. The FPR will still work to maintain the same pressure as usual, there may be a bit of a bump, but not much and you shouldn't rely on it as it will be inconsistent. You can use an adjustable FPR along with a pump upgrade, but don't overdo it...
Green, I've copied that code sticky to the MKIII FAQ as well. I'll be adding info to it one of these days...
