Default Housing clamp for supra turbo?

ok so i bought a 1987 mkIII supra 5 speed turbo and it had a few problems and i pop the hood and look at the turbo and theres a gap between the housing. i look at other turbos and there is no gap and there is a 2 piece clamp holdin it together. now ive searched all over for this clamp and i cant find one. can someone please help me find this 2 piece clamp? and how bad is it for my motor/turbo to drive this car without this clamp? Thanks for the help Alan

Well, if it's the clamps for the exhaust housing, they're not available seperately from Toyota and I don't know where you'll be able to source them. You should post a pic so we can be sure we're talking about the same thing. You might try getting ahold of Aaron at DriftMotion.com... they rebuild CT-26's and may have a couple units which are too far gone for a rebuild which they may be able to pull a set off of to sell ya.

Bad? Well... it's not good... at all... I'm not going to guess how bad, but it could be bad enough to keep me from driving the car until it's fixed.
