Default Lexus AFM Fitment

The answer must be simple but "search" doesn't reveal the secret easily......
I am running a K&N filter on the stock AFM housing. I am doing the Lexus/550 upgrade. I realize I am going to have to "stuff" or "force" the the Lexus housing into the accordian hose as it is larger than the stock AFM, but what K&N part# will I have to use to attach the filter to the front of the larger Lexus AFM? Should I go with an APEXi filter, what part will I need to attach the filter to the AFM?

I've never heard anyone say that they needed to replace the adapter. Personally, I would wait until I had the Lex AFM in hand and see if it is much different. You may find that you don't need to make any adjustments or that simply opening the bolt holes a little is all that is needed.

My preference would be either Apex'i or AEM... AEM will be less expensive and from everything I've read filters just as well if not a bit better.
