Alternator flash test...
So we're still not charging, and before i condemn the whole alternator i'm thinking of flashing it through the hole marked "F" in the back of the case to see if its just the reg/rec pack as i suspect.
Just wanted to confirm that if the reg/rec is failed with no charge and the field coil is fully excited that the only risk i'm running is blowing the alternator if the probe sticks for too long, and no huge voltage spikes are gonna fly past the reg. and kill the dash, ecu & who knows what.
