3" dp connecting after testpipe
k gonna ask before I leap.
im in the middle of purchasing a 3" elbow and 3"dp now the question is. when I eliminate my cat with a test pipe, am i able to connect my new 3" pre cat to cat back? hmm did i word that right? cause 3"cat backs are freaking expensive. i also replaced from resonator back acouple years ago and dont feel like just chucking a perfectly good exhaust

Shouldn’t be a problem, they normally bolt straight onto the second cat. In the UK most supra owners also remove the second cat and fit a test pipe (3 inch x 11 1/2 inch plain pipe) vehicles pre 1992 are exempt from some exhaust emission tests in the UK. Before I fitted my test pipe (which replaces the second cat) I made a detailed drawing, which may help to check your fixing hole dimensions on your new down pipe. A selection of pic`s below that may help, including the Toyota stock exhaust system for the 7M-GTE.
