gutting
so im on with the same ideas on losing as much weight as posible.do you have any pics of your car now that its gutted? i was thinking of even a really thin carpet to cover up all the raw metal, or even rubberized spray to absorb some of the rattle and amiance now that will come. any ideas?

Sorry the car has actually blown on me again. I ended up selling it with my r154.
Currently I have a 07 civic Si now. Im doing the same ol stuff tho. I just relocated the battery thursday and will be keeping the stock seats but gutting out the airbags for weight. What are your plans with your car?

ya i was thinking that the rubber spray will a lot easier and less time consuming. basically i want to get the car ready for a track day,or even some drifting, but still able to use as a daily driver. i dont have enough time and money to build a 500+ engine but with the simple bolt ons if i get 3-350 HP i will be more than happy. i figure with a lot of wieght loss ,even with less hp than most cars now i'll still have a good chance of shutting some cars down. going for as much of a sleeper look as possible and its been working. hhahaha we'll see how long that last. when that doesnt work....... NOS! LOL

That k20 will be loud running at vtec with no interior. Especially with an aftermarket exhaust. But anyway puting in a rubber coating of some sort kinda defeats the reason for weigh reduction. This site has a product for what I think you might be looking for with weight specs.
