Ignition Coil
I was wondering if anyone has upgraded their ignition coil on their N/A's and what you've found if anything. So far i havent found anything on the sites i usually surf for parts, just stock replacements. Jegs doesnt make anything vehicle specific but I would like to get one of theirs if possible. Any thought would be great, thanks

By all means fit an uprated coil, especially as i'm guessing your fully rebuilt motor will have a beautifully clean bay since it will look better than stock and would represent a finishing touch to a show class bay. As to performance gains however, itd be a waste of money unless we're talking a hi comp lump tuned to the n'th degree thats had 10s of thous thrown at it when it may just get that last half horse out over stock...
If it were my car i'd probably get a chrome cover for looks, and a new stock coil if it was faulty...

I know of no upgraded coils ever made for the MKIII. You'll have to make due with an aftermarket unit such as those made by MSD and wire it in yourself.... there are a number of N/A guys who swear it adds "madd powah, yo"...
