love it for sure!!!!!!!!! Its amazing. Thanks for the welcome btw. Hey where did you get that one piece driveshaft? how much did that cost. And if you dont mind me asking what does it do for the car? |
I got my driveshaft from the driveshaftshop. I'm pretty sure if you go to driftmotion or suprastore you can find driveshafts there as well. I got mine for around 320 shipped. But I don't know if you'll find that with the way things are now.
The whole point for me was to both go lighter than the stock 2 peice (by quite a bit), and to eliminate the minor response time lag when you hit the throttle (due to the center support bearing and well, the driveshaft being to seperate peices). Plus I hear that under increased power, the 2 peice doesn't hold up to well. |

I went aluminum for the extra weight reduction. I heard that too about one pieces, that it's harder on some parts, but I haven't seen/felt anything that would make me worry. On the other hand, make sure your diff is mounted nice and secure, my friends decided to mess with me and loosen mine a bit as a joke, and I tore it free from the rear subframe one day while on the road.
A one piece is a bolt in part, since it's just replacing what you already have, nothing extra. If I had the money though, I'd strengthen my tranny with newer parts, but that's about it. Good luck. |

Eh it's alright, I loosened the front subframe on his integra. It's funny watching an integra drop it's engine and trans at 45mph. I got my revenge.
