Head Gasket Progress/Question
 

Hi guys So I started on removing the head. I managed to break a plastic part. just wondering if anyone knows what it is and where i can get another?

It's the heater control valve. It stops coolant from flowing through the heater core when the air conditioner is operating at full.... I don't think it closes at any other time. You may safely bypass it if you have difficulty finding a replacement soon. I do not know of any shops that stock them besides Toyota dealerships or buying a used one.
