problems
I have an 87 mk3 7mge motor blow up. i swapped an 7mgte into it n it is not gettin fire now what to do.

first i assume this 7mgte was running....
get a flashlight and start looking at EVERYTHING make sure its all hooked up there is alot of cables and wires and hoses to reconnect

are you getting spark at all? if so, try adjust your timing... if not... at least you know which end of the elec system you need to focus attention on. Also, did you get a new ECU with the turbo? 7mge != 7mgte on several different levels... including compression ratio..

He did mention he went from 7mge to 7mgte swap... so conversion was done... what was included on the 7mgte and what was missing vs process and procedure maintained and followed during the swap is anyone's guess...

Which are you running the GE electronics and harnesses or the GTE electronics and harnesses? They're NOT mix and match.
