89 T-Top key question
what can i use to take off the t top, will any allen key work?

Yeah, it's just a standard allen-wrench type bolt. Don't recall the size right off hand, but I've used them before when my wrench was missing in action.
Just make sure you go through the proper pattern when you remove or replace the top. Doing it wrong can lead to leaking and the top not seating properly. |

You can still get the tool from Toyota. 09168-14010 and 09169-14010 are the two part numbers you'll need.
