whats the hose called connected to the engine right at the top next to the Engine Oil cap,.

That's the crank case ventilation hose.

No it's used to let blowby gasses and condensation out of the crank case. If it's being subtly squeezed it's fine if it's being compressed to the point where airflow is being restricted it's bad.
