Reviving an 89 turbo
Hey guys
Im new to the forum. Just wanted to say hi and maybe get some advice from people that know what they are talking about. My Dad has had an 89 Turbo for years and loved it. But it got a bad knock and got parked. He lost his vision 2 years ago and I would like to bring her back to life to keep in the family. I know very little about imports. Im a BB Chevy man myself. I spend my time under the hood of a 600 RWH 71 Monte Carlo. I was thinking about buying a new motor from Jasper. And maybe doing a turbo upgrade and rebuild while im at. How would you reccomend going about it all? Should I just keep the stock motor and rebuild? Or is the Jasper for 3600 the best bet? Also, what sort of turbo upgrades would you reccomend? And where can I find them? I have been searching the web with minimal luck other than with Jasper. Thanks Will |
