Engine info
I'm a late bloomer with my Supra and am curious. Do the 7MGT & 1JZT engines use the same bottom end (block, crank etc..)? Are the cylinder heads similar and is the difference in hp only due to the use of two rather than one turbo?
Any info you may have for me would be greatly appreciated. Michael |

Completely different. The 7M and 1JZ both refer to their specific block and generation (i.e. the "7th" version of the "M" block). This thread is being moved to the MKIII Supra forum
