LEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! get an O2 sensor on it ASAP, also the heat shield is necessary so it doesn't cook your intake hoses.

your motor and all its components heaat up like crazy...if you keep driving it lean you'll eventually melt the pistons and the other internals of the motor...and for the turbo...u might blow it...try getting a turbo timer also if you dont have one...the turbo will last a lot longer

lean can detonate and blow your head gasket also, basicly, it's the worst thing you can do, I'd rather run rich than lean...
Try the dealer on the heat shield, or see if you can find one in a junk yard, ect... |

yes oil , and water lines to turbo both should be checked first for flow. my bad.. but if your actally driving with out an o2 sensor,, there is no air/fuel mixture signal being sent to the ecu so i dont know what it would default on, or how it could even run at all??? im confused now.. h34r:

i agree i went through everything to figure out what was wrong. tps, mass air sensor, cats, ground wires, spark plugs, fuel pressure, fuel pump, vaccum leaks, you name it i did it. Well after i was about to give up i decided to give it one last crank not knowing i left the o2 off. cranked right up. The car would rev up i could drive it. If i plug the o2 in now it just does what it did before. (my problems before)http://www.toyota-supra.info/forums/...w+to+the+supra I should be getting my new one any day now
