Noise from front end
I have a 1986 supra non turbo. I am getting a loud metal snapping sound on occasion. It mostly happens backing out of my driveway when the car bounces over the curb with the wheels turned all the way. Coil spring?

Check the bolts on top of shock towers, make sure sub frame bushings are intact and the bolts are tight. Check to make sure bushings on lower control are intact and bolts are tight. Also if it does it over speed bumps, the motor motor mounts could be cracked or chunks missing out of them which causes oil pan to smack cross member. I wish I had Pics...
