Supra Wont start please help!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a 86.5 supra that was converted over to a 7mgte w/r154 tranny. All work was professionally done about 3 years ago or 10000 miles. Finally got the chance to take it out for the summer (no more snow). It ran perfect for the first couple times out about 400 miles. Now it WILL NOT START, the car will crank and crank untill the battery dies. Any suggestions will help, this is my last option before i have to take it to Toyota (which i would like to avoid).

i'm not sure what you mean. If you turn the key it just cranks like it wants to start. I know its getting fuel (pressure test yesterday) and the timing is rite.

There are a lot of things that it could be. Try using the search option to find more information. Pull one of your spark plugs, plug it in and hold it against the engine block while someone cranks the engine. There should be a spark. If not, it has something to do with your igniter or distributor or something. But again, try searching it. |

Fixed it. I git in touch with a former master tech for Toyota who worked for the trd division. He told me it was probly the cam angle position sensor and to hit it with a wrench if it starts that's the problem. So I hit it and it started rite up and ran perfect. Thanks for everyone's suggestions
